Tipperary Age Friendly is to partner with Understand Together and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland to deliver a 1-hour session of Dementia Awareness Training in Tipperary over the coming weeks with the first session in Templemore this morning.
This training will support Tipperary Age Friendly Dementia Alliance in creating awareness of dementia across County Tipperary.
The first session is planned for Monday April 7th in the Templemore Arms Hotel – each session is expected to take approximately one hour. People can arrive to register at 11am and the event will begin at 11.15am.
The second event is scheduled for April 14th in the Anner Hotel in Thurles – this is an afternoon session with registration from 2pm and the event will run from 2.15pm to 3.15pm approximately. Also on April 14th an evening session will be held in the Cahir House Hotel. Registration is at 6pm and the event will start at 6.15pm.
