The Contractor working on the N74 road project in Tipperary town, Glas Civil Engineering, expects to have the work on new footpaths at the Bansha Road Roundabout completed by tomorrow.
The Junction is to revert to operating as a Roundabout from Friday afternoon as the temporary traffic lights are removed. In the coming weeks the construction staff will return to the Bansha Road roundabout area to resurface the road.
The N74 Road project extends over a distance of 1,100m from the Tipperary town limits on the eastern side at Crogue Hill to the start of Main Street in Bank Place. Temporary Traffic Lights at Crogue Hill will be in place next week but located slightly closer to the town.The contractor expects that two-way traffic will resume on the N74/Fr Matthew Street/ Cashel Road segment in late May.
