Businesses in Tipperary are being encouraged to attend information sessions about the commencement of Auto enrolment for employee pensions as of 30 September this year.
Under the scheme, the employee, employer, and Government all pay a certain amount into the employee’s pension fund as part of a major reform to provide greater levels of income adequacy for retired workers in the future.
The Tipperary Local Enterprise Office is offering two events in the coming days featuring presentations from the Department of Social Protection. On Monday March 31st a one hour session is planned for Retail Employers at 11am. On Thursday April 3rd at 4pm a session for employers in general is scheduled for 4pm.
