National Hurling League Division 1A Final Between Tipperary & Cork To Be Staged In Cork

The National Hurling League Division 1A  final between Tipperary  and Cork will be staged in Cork at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh as part of a double header.   The game is set for Sunday April 6th with a 4pm throw in time. Tickets for the match are now on sale according  to the Tipperary County Board. The pair last met in a NHL final  in 1960 in a game that was graced by the late Christy Ring playing for Cork. Tipperary’s  last NHL title win was in 2008 with Cork’s last title secured in 1998. Both Counties are keen for success in this year’s All Ireland Championship with  Tipperary’s most recent senior title secured in 2019 while Cork have not won a senior All Ireland Hurling title  since 2005.

The match will be preceded by the Division IB Final featuring Waterford and Offaly. This match will begin at 1.45pm.
