Water supply will be disrupted in Cahir town centre today. Uisce Eireann staff are to repair a leak on a mains pipe on the Clonmel road in Cahir this morning.
The repairs will cause an outage between 10am and 1pm. The company advises that it may be 3 to 4 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return to normal.
Uisce Eireann offers all customers a free text alert service about water outages both planned and unplanned that last for more than four hours. Customers can sign up for the service by entering their Eircode and Mobile phone number on the water.ie website. The customer care team can be contacted by calling 1 800 278 278 at any time of day or night.
