The N24/N74 junction in Tipperary town – March 14th 2025.
Drivers in the Tipperary town area are reminded that the Bansha Road Junction(N24/N74) is now operating as a roundabout. There are virtually no road markings to inform drivers due to ongoing road works. Signage has been restored to indicate that the junction is a roundabout after two weeks of operating as a T-Junction due to construction works.

The construction staff will not be back on site until Wednesday morning March 19th when traffic management by means of temporary traffic lights will be in operation at the junction.
The construction works are part of a larger project that is mostly on the N74 Cashel road. In late March or early April, the road surface at the Bansha road junction and for a short section of the N24 extending to Lidl will be removed and replaced which is likely to cause traffic disruption at that time.
Full details of the project can be found on the dedicated website n74tipperarytown.ie
