As preparations continue across the county for St Patrick’s Day celebrations the focus of many Tipperary Hurling fans will be on Croke Park on Monday.
Thurles CBS are competing for the Croke Cup Final at 3pm at GAA headquarters.
The team won the Harty cup in early January to become Munster Champions and have since progressed to the All Ireland final of the schools U19A competition.
Their opponents on Monday are Presentation College from Athenry seeking to become only the second ever Galway school to win the prestigious competition. Thurles CBS won the Croke Cup in 2009 for their only title to date.
