Acquired Brain Injury Ireland are hosting a bake sale in the ABI bookshop, Friar Street, Cashel on Friday on 14th March from 10am in conjuction with brain injury awareness week March 10th to 16th. Please join us to support ABI Ireland services both locally and nationally. All funds raised will directly support life changing services that ABI Ireland provides to brain injury survivors. Your participation truly makes a difference in their lives.

Doon GAA Road Hurling event will take place on Sunday 16th March. Registration available online or in the clubhouse. Registration will take place from 8.30am on the day. Transport is provided to the start point. Entertainment and music to follow from 12 noon, great fun guaranteed.

The Forge Players presents “The Ferryman” a 3 act play by “Jez Butterworth”, directed by Michael O’Donoghue at the Excel Theatre from Wednesday 12th March to Saturday 15th March nightly at 8pm. Tipperary Town St. Patrick’s Day town parade will commence at 2.30pm on Monday March 17th from “The Plan” area on Davitt Street and travel via O’Connell Road, O’Brien Street onto Main Street. Prizes will be given for the Greenest Spectator, the best decorated house en route, the best shop window in the town and the best Float in the parade. The parade theme is “Bee th Change”, in association with Tipperary tidy towns which aims to eliminate litter and to take actions to support biodiversity. Powerstown/Lisronagh Comhaltas Branch is to host the 2025 County Tipperary Fleadh/Fleadh Cheoil Thiobraid Arann. The County Fleadh will take place the weekend of the 17th and 18th of May in the Gaelcholaiste, Clonmel. Over the weekend, hundreds of musicians, their families and friends will arrive to Clonmel to participate in the opening ceremony, competitions, and session trails with many of the events free. In the run up to the Fleadh, as well as during the Fleadh, there will be many events for the people of Clonmel and surrounding areas to enjoy. These include a workshop titled “Scoil Fonn agus Amhran”, an art competition for primary schools with the theme “Traditional Irish Music”, a singing circle event, dramaiocht competition for primary schools and a music for all event that is inclusive of neurodivergent individuals within our community. The committee also hopes to have music on the Plaza where people can come and soak up some Irish music. The official souvenir programme will include the programme of events as well as articles of historical and musical significance.

New After School Service will be open in Donohill National School on April 2025. This service is provided by an external service called Sugradh. The service will include Junior Club from 1.50pm to 2.50pm and afterschool care until 4.30pm. For further information email: [email protected] or call Joanne on 087-3361201. Canon Hayes Recreaction Centre are running the following classes: A Fitness and Mobility Class every Wednesday at 10am. All are welcome to attend for a small fee. Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and chat in a friendly atmosphere. A pregnancy workout for expectant mothers. This class will take place every Wednesday at 5.45pm and also the centre is creating a network of friendship and support for Parents with their parent and child fitness fiesta. This is a workout for parents, babies and toddlers every Monday morning at 9.30am and Tuesday evening at 5.45pm. No need to book just come along to the class and pay on the day.
