Drivers in Tipperary town are being advised that Bennet’s Supervalu will introduce clamping for cars parked on their property for more than two hours.

Cars parked in the accessible parking spaces who fail to display a valid disabled persons parking permit will also be clamped. The new policy is to begin on Tuesday March 18th.

The company says it wants to  ensure that parking spaces in the business car park are available for everyone who visits the store and post office. The company shared the new policy in a post on social media and says that a fee of  €60 will  apply to release the vehicle.

The company highlights  that the new policy is intended to deliver a fair and accessible parking area for all of our customers.
