Five Agricultural Shows in county Tipperary are to benefit from over €40,000 in State support this year.
The funding is part of a national allocation of €1,028,345 to 123 shows nationwide.
The grants range from €4,000 to €11,000 depending on the size of the show.
In county Tipperary, the Clonmel show on July 6th is allocated €10,700, the Nenagh show on August 4th is allocated €8,350, Cappamore Show on August 16th receives €9,205, Bansha Show to be held on Wednesday August 20th this year secured €8,350, and a new show in Dualla is awarded €4,700 for it’s event on August 31st.
