The Online Auction firm Bidx1.com is to handle the sale of a major commercial property on the Limerick Road in Tipperary Town next month, with a guide price of €1.2 million. The property currently hosts the Dealz outlet under a letting agreement with Poundland Ltd. The current owner is Innovest Holdings which is owned by Tipperary town native Mr Shane Corby.
The auction is set to take place on Thursday, March 13, at 10.30am, with a bidding closing time yet to be confirmed. A bidder security of €20,000 is required but is fully refundable if the bidder is unsuccessful. The property consists of a ground floor double height retail warehouse accommodation and a large open trading floor. The property also includes some 120 surface car parking spaces and a one-acre development site to the rear. It is understood that the current rent paid by Poundland is €170,000 per annum on a ten-year lease that began in 2021 and that any sale would not affect the existing tenants.
