The Senior A Schools hurling All Ireland semi-finals are to take place in the coming weekend with Bansha hosting one of the matches. The winners progress to the final of the Croke Cup.
Thurles CBS, the 2025 Harty Cup champions will take on the Ulster winners Coláiste Bhaile Chláir(Galway) with the game fixed for 1pm on Saturday March 1st in Banagher county Offaly. The Thurles win was the third Harty Cup win in arrow for Tipperary schools following the wins of Nenagh CBS in 2024 and Cashel Community School in 2023.
The second semi-final will feature St Kieran’s from Kilkenny against Presentation College Athenry from Galway also on Saturday in Bansha with a 2.30pm throw in time.
