A local musician is giving a free concert tonight as he launches his new CD. The event in Templeneiry Church, Bansha will see Ailbe Grace launch a new 12 track CD of reels, polkas, waltzes and jigs with some new tunes written from the likes of Joanie Madden – based in the USA.
The CD features the work of not only Ailbe Grace but also includes musician Liam Flanagan with special guest Mick O’Connor. The recording was completed at a studio in Doon, County Waterford. The album cover features an image from behind the Christ the King Statue looking across the Glen of Aherlow and is titled “Across the Glen”.
The concert tonight in Templeneiry Church begins at 7.30pm and all are welcome.
