Tipperary town St Patrick’s Day Committee is to hold a public meeting tomorrow night and are inviting anyone interested in helping with the parade to attend. The Tipperary town parade will be held on Monday March 17th with a start time of approximately 2.30pm(TBC). Anyone interested in entering a float or taking part in the parade is asked to email [email protected] or to message the St Patrick’s Day Tipperary Facebook page.
The committee is led by Independent Councillor John O’Heney and tomorrow night’s meeting will be held in Norries Bar, Bridge Street, at 7.30pmPlans are progressing across the county for St Patrick’s Celebrations. Cappawhite is to host a St Patrick’s Day Parade this year which is scheduled for 11.30am on March 17th, while Ballylooby will hold it’s parade at noon on Sunday March 16th. Cashel and Carrick on Suir are also on Sunday March 16th with Carrick to host a 3 county festival on the day. Thurles, Nenagh, Templemore, Clonmel and Littleton are all set for March 17th while Newport is marching at 12.30pm on Saturday March 15th.
