Uisce Eireann is warning of mains repair works that may cause supply disruptions to Cahir town and surrounding areas tomorrow. The work is scheduled to take place from 9am until 3pm on Tuesday 18th February with supply to be fully restored 3 to 4 hours later
Water supply is returning to normal for residents and businesses in Lisvernane and the Glen of Aherlow. A problem at the reservoir caused outages to Aherlow and surrounding areas since early yesterday. Repairs were completed this morning and all supplies are expected to be back to normal as of 2pm(Monday).
Uisce Eireann offers customers the option to sign up for text alerts about both planned and unplanned outages that will last for four hours or longer. The service is available on the water.ie website. The company’s customer care team can be contacted by calling 1 800 278 278 – this service operates 24 hours daily.
