The Tipperary Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) are currently looking for one Representative for their committee from the community and voluntary sector.
This local decision-making structure draws on the expertise and experience of public and private sectors within the county Tipperary local authority area to provide effective and efficient services to citizens and communities, and particularly those most in need of those services. The person appointed will represent the Tipperary Public Participation Network (PPN) as a whole organisation, not their individual community group. All decisions taken and views represented will be for the betterment of all the sectors of the Community and Voluntary, Social Inclusion and Environmental within county Tipperary and guided by the PPN Community Wellbeing Vision Statements.The committee which contributes to and helps guide the work of both the Council and the Local Development companies – both North and South Tipperary, meets once a month with a total of 11 monthly meetings. The person appointed could also be involved in some short term sub groups. Nominations must be made by Tuesday February 25th at 6pm and all groups registered with the Public Participation Network have been notified of the call for nominations.
