The number of Irish Restaurants with a Michelin Star status increased by three as this year’s awards are revealed. The Bishop’s Buttery at the Cashel Palace retained the Star it was awarded last year.
Amongst the successful restaurants in 2025 is Lita a Restaurant in London operated by 32-year-old Clonmel Chef Luke Ahearne
The three new additions are Ballyfin Demense in Co Laois, The Morrison Room in Co Kildare and Lignum in Co Galway.
The prestigious Michelin guide is published online and identifies what Michelin deems as the best restaurants across the UK and Ireland.
