Rockwell Music Academy is to host an event tomorrow(Wednesday) evening as part of National Singing week. The free event is planned for Rockwell College near New Inn and will run from approximately 6.30 until 7.30pm.
National Singing Week is led by Sing Ireland to celebrate the myriad benefits of group singing, from fostering community spirit to enhancing personal well-being. Every Voice Counts is Sing Ireland’s call to action for an Ireland where every voice is heard, valued, and uplifted. An estimated 229,000 people regularly participate in group singing across Ireland.
Rockwell Music Academy provides music and singing classes in both Cahir and Rockwell catering for approximately 500 students.
Cahir To Sing group is also hosting an event on Wednesday that will begin with coffee and a chat at 7.30pm and then singing from 8pm. The event is also an Open Rehearsal for the Cahir to Sing Group. The organisers say the event at the Cahir Youth Centre on Church Street (E21 PN24) is open to everyone and that all voices and skill levels are welcome.
