The Irish Architecture Foundation is to present a special talk about the role of Art Centres in the Irish town in the Source Arts Centre, Thurles on Saturday next February 8th at 2.30pm.
The talk is part of the ‘The Reason of Towns’ exhibition currently on show in the Gallery at the Source Arts Centre, curated by architect Valerie Mulvin.
The talk on Saturday will feature Valerie Mulvin, Emma Nee Haslam (Director, Birr Theatre), representatives from the Irish Architecture Foundation and other special guests for an afternoon discussion about the integral and everyday roles that art centres play in Irish towns.
Admission is free and places do not need to be reserved in advance.
