Outpouring Of Tributes Following Friday Night’s House Fire In Tipperary Town

The victim in Friday night’s house fire on Dillon Street, Tipperary town has been named as Marguerite O’Halloran – it is understood that the deceased was alone in the house at the time of the fire – emergency services were alerted at approximately 8.30pm. A post mortem examination is understood to have taken place in University Hospital Waterford yesterday.

The scene, at the two storey house, is currently preserved for a technical examination as investigations to establish the cause of the fire are yet to be concluded. Floral tributes have been left at the scene in tribute to the deceased. 

There has been an outpouring of tributes to the very popular and well liked woman and expressions of condolences for her family. Marguerite O’ Halloran is survived by her 4 children, husband, mother, brother and extended family and friends.
