Thurles Town Electricity Supply Suffers From A Series Of 7 Faults On ESB Network Today

61

Thurles town electricity supply suffered a series of 7 faults on the ESB Network this afternoon. The faults affect the area on the west of the town from Holycross road through to Brittas. ESB networks now says the fault will be repaired by 3.30pm on Friday and that a total of 647 customers are affected. The earlier posts on the powercheck.ie website had indicated that it would be 2pm on Saturday February 1st before the supply would be restored and that 660 customers were affected.

It is not thought that the fault is weather related as a crew was working in the area of the Racecourse Road earlier today. Local businesses are hopeful that the fault can be repaired sooner than the revised time of Friday afternoon. ESB networks can be contacted on 1 800 372 999  and the company advises customers to take the option to be updated on faults via the link posted on the powercheck.ie website.
