Uisce Eireann is placing a Boil water notice for customers supplied by Fethard Regional Public Water Supply. The notice will impact approximately 7,050 customers and is being issued due to a deterioration in raw water quality entering the plant which has affected the treatment process. The Boil before Use notice does not include Fethard town, which is supplied by a different scheme. Impacted areas include: Cloneen, Mullinahone, Drangan, Killenaule, Moyglass, Ballinure, Ballynonty, Glengoole, Gortnahoe and surrounding areas.

Uisce Éireann is also progressing with works to lift two Boil Water Notices currently in place for customers in Carrick On Suir supplied by both the Crotty’s Lake and Linguan Water Treatment Plants. Uisce Eireann can be contacted by calling 1 800  278 278 and updates are also published on the website water.ie.
