Excitement Builds As Harty Cup Final Fixtures Featuring Thurles CBS Are Set

Excitement is building across Tipperary as the final of the Harty Cup featuring Thurles CBS and St Flannan’s of Ennis has been set for Mallow GAA grounds on Saturday February 1st. The game will throw in at 1pm with Limerick’s Johnny Murphy assigned to referee the game.

Attendance is by ticket only event and tickets can be bought online from 2pm today on the Munster Council GAA website

Thurles CBS have won the Harty Cup, which is the Munster u19A schools competition, on eight previous occasions most recently in 2015 and were on the losing side in 11 finals.  St Flannans have an impressive 22 wins to their credit and were runners up 18 times.

Thurles CBS will be hoping to match the success of Nenagh CBS who were the champions last year and Cashel Community School, winners in 2023 – the most recent Tipperary schools to win the Harty Cup.
