Twelve students from Tipperary were among 593 students who were awarded Entrance Exhibition Awards for the 2024/5 academic year from Trinity College Dublin.
The awards go to students accepted into the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree programme who achieved the highest points among Trinity entrants from their secondary school, above a minimum of 500 CAO points (or equivalent).
The awards were delivered at three ceremonies at Trinity’s Old Dining Hall, earlier this week to which the students and their school principals were invited.
Among the recipients were David Marshall and Cathal O’ Donnell from Rockwell College, Konrad Janaszek Cashel Community School, Carrie Lyons and Jennifer Hughes Presentation Secondary School, Isabelle Mangan Ursuline Secondary School, Michal Jaroszczyk C.B.S. Thurles along with students from Loreto, Roscrea Cistercian, Our Lady’s in Templemore, Borrisokane Community School and Scoil Ruain in Killenaule. Awardees receive a certificate and a €150 book token.
