Uisce Eireann is understood to have completed repairs at the Reservoir in Goatenbridge which will restore supplies to customers in several areas between Ardfinnan and Cahir.
Supplies also need to restore to two other reservoirs in Jamestown and Edenmore via the Goatenbridge facility.
All areas should have water supply back by approximately 6pm today but it could be 8pm before normal pressure is restored. The outage affected Uisce Eireann customers in Ballyclerihan, Newcastle, Edenmore, Clogheen, Poulatar, Jamestown, Poulnamucky, Knocklofty, Rathkeevin, Garryroe, Giantsgrave, Garryntemple, Lady’s Abbey, Neddans, Red City, Marlhill, Kilmaloge, Ballindoney, Ardfinnan and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.
