Irish Blood Transfusion Service Appeals For Donors New & Longstanding To Support Local Clinics

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service continues to appeal for donors new and longstanding donors to support local clinics due to concerns about the levels of blood stocks on hand.

There are five donation clinics in the county this week and the public are asked to consider making a donation. All details including the pre donation screening for first time donors are available on the giveblood.ie website.

Clinics will be held at the Cahir House Hotel in Cahir today between 3.50pm and 8.10pm and also in Nenagh at the Scouts Hall on Ashe Road between  4.50pm and  the final appointment starting at 8.10pm. The Clinic at the Scouts Hall in Nenagh will continue with the same time schedule on Wednesday and Thursday.On Sunday January 19th, a blood donation clinic will be held at the Abbey Court Hotel In Nenagh starting at 11.50am and running until  3.10pm final appointment time.
