Weather warnings have been updated by Met Eireann as all Primary and Second level schools in Cashel, Tipperary town are closed on Monday. Colaiste Iascaigh in Cahir is also closed on Monday January 6th.
Tipperary and Munster, Leinster and Counties Cavan and Monaghan are now under a Status Yellow Snow/Ice warning until midnight on Sunday January 5th. The more severe Status Orange Warning expired at 8pm.
Further falls of sleet and snow with snowfall accumulations expected which could cause Hazardous travelling conditions, Poor visibility and Travel disruption
Met Eireann also has a status yellow low Temperature warning in place until noon on Thursday January 9th. Nights will be very cold with widespread frost and ice.
