Uisce Eireann is responding to a major water outage in West Tipperary. The outage is caused by a burst water main and is affecting customers in the areas around Shrough Cross, Mt. Bruis, Shronell, Kilross, Ballywire, Emly, Duncummin, Knocklong Road, Glenbane, Roseboro, Galbally Road, Limerick Junction, Barronstown, Cullen, Tipperary Town and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.
Uisce Eireann hopes to have repairs completed by 11am tomorrow morning January 4th. The burst pipe caused flooding on the road near Mt Bruis earlier today.
The area has suffered extreme disruption to water supplies over the last week. Uisce Eireann offers customers a text notification service about outages both planned and unplanned that last for four hours or more.
