Met Eireann today issued a number of weather warnings for the next few days. County Tipperary is included with counties Limerick, Clare, Kilkenny, Carlow and Wicklow in a Status Orange severe warning for Snow and Ice. The warning comes into effect at 5pm tomorrow and is in place until 5pm on Sunday.
Met Eireann is forecasting significant snowfall accumulations that could cause very difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility, travel disruption including delays to public transport including air, rail and bus services, difficult conditions underfoot and animal welfare concerns are also being highlighted.
Cork and Kerry is subject to a Status Yellow rain and snow warning from 1pm tomorrow until 5pm on Sunday. All of Ireland is under a Status Yellow Snow/Ice Warning from 5pm on Saturday until 5pm on Sunday.
