Cllr Liam Browne is expressing frustration about a sewage leak on the Golden Road, Cashel. The Independent councillor says despite engagement with the Council and Uisce Eireann the problem is not being addressed as the sewage leak is located on private property and then flowing across public footpaths.
Cllr Browne says the issue is a significant public health issue due to the raw sewage on footpaths, creating a stench and a road safety hazard when it freezes on the road. The Councillor commits to raising the issue at the next Council meeting if it is not resolved before then.
