The Charity GOAL that works in 15 countries providing humanitarian aid is hoping that Tipperary people will support their events on Christmas day to raise funds.
The Goal Mile is a Christmas Day Tradition for many families taking part in the run before Christmas dinner.
Last year the event raised €650,000 nationwide. Four GOAL Mile Runs are planned for Tipperary this year – in Carrick on Suir at 11am, in Fethard at 12 noon, in Moyglass at 11am and in Clonmel at the TUS Sports Hub at 10.30am
The Goal Mile is sponsored by AIB. People can register or make donations on the website goalmile.org.
