The Friends of Tipperary Football met in Annacarty Community Hall on December 18th to select the winners of their fundraising draw to raise funds to support the development of underage football in the county.
Cllr John O’Heney was the Independent Adjudicator for the draw. Con Quinn, owner of the Knockantibrien Pedigree herd, donated the top prize of an Aberdeen Angus heifer with calf at foot, which was won by Michael O’Dea from Erril in county Laois. Mr O’Dea purchased his ticket at Templemore Mart.
Four other prizes were also on offer as follows:
Mary Noonan, Aherlow won Two nights B & B for two adults and 2 children in Hotel Minella, Clonmel,
Mixie O’Dwyer, Donohill won Over night stay in Horse & Jockey Hotel.
Brodeen Engineering Fabrications, Tipperary won x 2 All Ireland Football tickets,
Sean Dalton, O’Dwyer Steel won x 2 All Ireland Hurling tickets.
Sellers prizes went to Larry Creamer, Michael Power (South), Michael Devlin and Eddie Ryan, all winning one €50 vouchers from Crowe Farm, Dundrum.
