Tipperary town Fire Service responded to two incidents this afternoon – there were no serious injuries at either incident.
The road between Tipperary and Donohill is now re-opened following a collision earlier today where minor injuries are reported.
The Fire Service also responded to a vehicle on fire on Davis Street, Tipperary town. A minibus transporting passengers from a local nursing home went on fire.
The fire has been extinguished and all residents (8) and nursing home staff safely evacuated the bus.
Alternative transport is now being sourced to enable them to return home.
The vehicle is close to the traffic lights on Davis street and Fire Service personnel would appreciate if drivers could use alternative routes until the passengers and damaged vehicle are collected.
