Thurles Lions Trust Housing association is seeking planning permission for a number of one bedroom apartments at a site on Croke Street in Thurles.
In total, 6 one bedroomed apartments will be delivered in two two-storey buildings on the site which has been vacant for several years.
The Housing trust was responsible for the refurbishment and expansion of the Stanwix Village in Thurles and also operates a number of houses across the town, including the Monastery Close Complex and the Matthew Bourke House in Gortataggart.
Matthew Bourke house provides sheltered accommodation and also makes some units avail to Tipperary county council homeless services.
