Funeral Arrangements Of Father & Son Who Died In House Fire In Littleton Revealed

The funeral arrangements for the father and son who died in a house fire at McDonagh Terrace in Littleton, county Tipperary, on Sunday night have been confirmed.

Stephen Lee will Repose in Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Thurles this evening from 4.30pm to 7pm.  Funeral cortege will arrive tomorrow morning to the Church of Our Lady and St. Kevin, Littleton at 11am for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr Lee’s son John also died in the tragedy – John Lee was married with two children and lived in Kilteely, county Limerick. On Sunday nights he stayed with his elderly father as part of a family care routine.

John Lee will lie in Repose at the family home in Cromhill, Kilteely, County Limerick on Friday 20th December from 2pm to 7pm, followed by Evening Prayers. Arriving on Saturday 21st December into St. Ailbe’s Church, Emly, Co. Tipperary for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by Service in Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

Stephen Lee is predeceased by his wife Mary, his daughter Sinead – John’s sister, and a granddaughter Jessica and survived by his daughter Karen (Fitzpatrick), son Christopher, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, his 3 sisters and extended family and friends.

John Lee is survived by his wife Mary and two children, siblings, aunts and extended family and friends.
