A local Sports club is raising thousands of euros for the Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre.
Kilfeacle Tennis Club is currently registering players for the Golden Vale Tennis Challenge. 80% of the registration fee goes to Circle of Friends and to date €2,500 has been raised. The Challenge allows tennis players from 12 clubs across south Tipperary to take part in a challenge match in singles, doubles or mixed doubles.
Registration is available on the Kilfeacletennis.ie website at this link here and challenge matches can start from 1st January 2025. The club is encouraging early sign-up as this means higher ladder positions and are reminding all players to ensure that their partner(if relevant) registers to fully complete the team details to secure their place.
The clubs involved are Ballypatrick, Castleview, Emly, Hillview, Hospital, Lattin, New Inn, Rosanna Tipperary town, Larkspur Park Cashel, Mitchelstown, County Tipperary Lawn Tennis Club Tipperary town and Kilfeacle Tennis club. The challenge matches are expected to be completed by the end of March.
