A business in Cahir is to close on December 24th. Irwin’s Café and TownHouse located on the Square in Cahir opened in February of this year. The business is run by Rosie Roberts who also runs Oh Sugar in Tipperary town.
In a statement posted on social media Ms Roberts shares that it is an incredibly hard decision to close saying so many elements in hospitality are out of balance – referring to the continuous rise in costs of ingredients and products to the ridiculously high level of monthly bills, making it an increasingly tough time for any small business.
The business team had put huge effort into offering dynamic menu in a progressive space with elements of music, hosting local groups, late opening and dog friendly elements to the offering along with the great food. Ms Roberts says she is incredibly proud of the team who developed the location into an amazing place and thanks them for their contribution and wishes them well for the future.
Any person wishing to use a gift voucher for Irwin’s Café & Townhouse in Cahir is asked to contact the business by December 24th. The vouchers will also be valid in the Oh Sugar outlet on Davis Street in Tipperary town which continues to trade.
