Archbishop Of Cashel & Emly Makes Number Of Clerical Appointments In The Archdiocese

The Archbishop of Cashel & Emly, Dr Kieran O’Reilly, has made a number of clerical appointments in the Archdiocese:

Fr. Killian Heney, ordained last Sunday is to be appointed to Tipperary town and to offer pastoral assistance to Ven. Archdeacon Eugene Everard in the parish pastoral combination of Tipperary; Solohead & Oola; Annacarty & Donohill; Bansha & Kilmoyler.

Fr Jim Egan, PP, Knockavilla & Donaskeigh is to retire and be AP of Knockavilla & Donaskeigh and to offer pastoral assistance to Fr Enda Brady Moderator of the Knockavilla & Donaskeigh; Golden & Kilfeacle; Cashel & Rosegreen; New Inn & Knockgraffon; Clerihan pastoral combination.Fr Enda Brady becomes  Adm. of Knockavilla & Donaskeigh.

Fr. John Morris, PP, Solohead & Oola is to retire and be AP of Solohead & Oola and to offer pastoral assistance to Ven. Archdeacon Eugene Everard who becomes Adm. of Solohead & Oola.

Fr. Richard Kelly, PP, Kilbehenny & Anglesboro is to retire and be AP of Kilbehenny & Anglesboro and to offer pastoral assistance to Fr Joe Tynan, Moderator of Kilbehenny & Anglesboro; Ballylanders; Galbally & Lisvernane; Knocklong & Glenbrohane combination.
Fr. Joe Tynan to be Adm. of Kilbehenny & Anglesboro.

Fr. Michael Mullaney, former President St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth is to be PP of Boherlahan & Dualla and to offer pastoral assistance to Fr. Celsus Tierney, Moderator of the Upperchurch & Drombane; Clonoulty & Rossmore; Holycross & Ballycahill; Boherlahan & Dualla combination while finally Fr Joe Egan, AP, Boherlahan & Dualla is to retire and becomes  AP Holycross & Ballycahill and is also to offer pastoral assistance to Fr. Celsus Tierney.

The Appointments take effect from Saturday 14th/Sunday 15th December 2024
