Tipperary town Tidy Towns Group is calling for new members to join the group.
The Group had 8 TUS workers at one stage in 2024 but will only have one such person contributing 19 hours work per week starting 2025. The group are calling on people interested in joining to message the Group page on Facebook or to contact Chairperson Paul O’Callaghan.
Mr O’Callaghan is calling for volunteers to undertake litter picks in their local area and says he is leading a litter pick on the Limerick Road between the Plaza and Deals on Saturday morning at 10am.The group can provide Litter Pickers and will arrange for any bags of litter collected by volunteers to be picked up.The Chairperson is also inviting anyone thinking of joining the group to attend the Christmas Party in the Porterhouse on Wednesday December 18th at 7pm
