Following the passage of Storm Darragh overnight, Tipperary County Council is advising the public that there were many downed trees, debris, and some structural damage across the county.
Roads Crews are currently assessing issues and clearing fallen trees and debris.

As of 1pm on Saturday approximately 325,000 ESB Networks Customers are without power – the company homes to restore power to most areas by later today.
The Status Yellow Wind warning for all of Ireland expires at 3pm today Saturday and no other weather warnings are in place for any part of Ireland except for all coasts and the on the Irish Sea where a Status Yellow Gale warning is in effect until midnight on Saturday.Northwest winds will reach gale force 8 or strong gale force 9 at times todayCouncil Crews are prioritising the clearing of National and Regional routes, with work expected to continue throughout the day.
Driving conditions are expected to be hazardous throughout the weekend. Residents are advised to monitor Met Éireann forecasts at https://www.met.ie/ for the most up-to-date information. Updates will also be available on social media platforms and news media outlets.
ESB Networks has issued a warning about the dangers of fallen live wires and urges the public and emergency services to stay away from any fallen cables.

Several public water schemes in county Tipperary have been affected by Storm Darragh. The loss of electrical power at pumping stations and treatment plants means that some Uisce Éireann Customers are experiencing water outages which can include no water and or low pressure today.
The following areas and surrounds are impacted.
- Ballinvir Water Supply scheme
- Ahenny Water Supply scheme
- Kilcash Water Supply scheme
- Cloughjordan water supply scheme, in parts of the scheme are experiencing an outage at higher elevations in the network while other customers are experiencing lower pressure.
- Springmount water supply scheme customers in the following areas are experiencing an outage: Springmount, parts of Golden and surrounding areas.
The current estimated restoration time is 2pm. Templetuohy water supply scheme Upperchurch water supply scheme Kilcommon water supply scheme Borrisoleigh area on Thurles Regional scheme Monroe on the Clonmel scheme Temple Ethney on the Clonmel Rural Scheme, including Killurney high areas, Ballyneill, Kilsheelan East and surrounding areas.
Margaret Attridge, Head of Water Operations with Uisce Éireann, says that due to the severity of the storm, Uisce Éireann had deployed generators at key sites where power outages were likely.
Uisce Éireann crews are now on the ground assessing the full impact and working to restore supply as quickly as possible including working closely with the ESB to return power to key water services sites as quickly as possible.
The company is asking customers to conserve water where possible. Uisce Éireann says the water treatment plants most impacted are in Kerry, East Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford, Donegal, Leitrim and County Galway the West of the city.
