The station has been closed for extensive renovation and modernisation.  A temporary public office on Friar street will no longer be in use.  The station can be reached by telephoning 062 75840.  In the case of an emergency the number to dial is 999 or 112.

Gardaí will be operating out of Cashel Garda Station 24/7, dealing with calls for service according to Garda Management

The Public Office will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 5pm but closed between 1 and 2pm. The office hours on Tuesday and Thursday will be 11am to 6pm but again closed for lunch from 1 to 2pm. The public office will not be open on weekends.

Cashel based Councillor Declan Burgess is welcoming the news and adds that a former Garda house next to the station has been refurbished allowing a new facility where Trainee Gardaí and Probationer Gardaí will be stationed in Cashel. These Gardaí will complete part of their training towards their Bachelor of Arts in Applied Policing in Cashel which is an added bonus according to Cllr Burgess the Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council.
