Scaffolding has been removed from buildings at 6 and 7 Main street Tipperary town formerly known as Liz’s bar.
Tipperary County Council purchased the building last year under a Government scheme to tackle vacancy and dereliction.
The property has had three chimneys and the facade refurbished. The building was also painted.
One of the two ground floor units is currently occupied by a food service business.
The Council is yet to establish a long term use for the property but hopes to have a retail outlet of some kind at ground level.
Under the terms of the scheme the property cannot be used to provide accommodation but can host a social enterprise or some other activity of community benefit.
