Tipperary County Council housing section is offering five houses across the county in this week’s Choice Based Letting (CBL) allocation. The homes are a mix of 3, 2 and one bedrooms and are located in Tipperary town, Cashel, Kilsheelan and Carrick on Suir.
Only persons approved for social housing and registered for the Choice Based Letting system can express interest in the homes on the dedicated website. A successful applicant who refuses a Choice Based Letting offer will not be eligible for consideration for another Choice Based Letting Unit for a period of one year. The council also says that it can only notify the successful applicants by post as it is not possible to respond to everyone submitting an expression of interest.
There are currently over 3,500 approved applicants on the Tipperary Council approved Social Housing list – the council expects to deliver a total of 188 new homes this year with a higher volume of delivery annually expected from 2025.
