Tipperary, particularly Cashel, is to feature in an upcoming TV series with Chef Neven Maguire.
Two episodes of Neven’s Christmas at Cashel will air next month as the Chef visits the Cashel Palace Hotel to cook with Stefan McEnteer in the Bishops Buttery Restaurant and also enjoys afternoon tea with Adriaan Bartels, the General Manager of the Cashel Palace Hotel.
Tipperary Cheese is also featured including the products of Cooleeney Farm and Cashel Irish Farmhouse Cheeses as Chef Neven composes a Cheese Board.
Chef Maguire will also visit the Rock of Cashel for a performance by the Sunday Singers Cashel. Una O’Dwyer, a Master Butcher features in the second episode as does Cashel Palace Chef Stephen Hayes who shares a recipe for lamb stew. The programme concludes with a visit to Ballydoyle Racing Stables and a visit with Aidan O’Brien, considered to be the world’s greatest horse trainer.
The programmes will air on RTE on December 3rd and December 10th.
