The local Cathaoirleach Awards for the Tipperary Cahir Cashel MD 2024 will now be held on Thursday, 28th November in Cahir House hotel, Cahir at 6.30pm.
The event was originally scheduled for the Excel Centre, Tipperary town on Thursday November 21st but was cancelled due to the weather advisory.
The Excel is not available this week due to a show setting up in the venue resulting in the move to Cahir House Hotel.
The event will honour a total of 11 individuals and groups from the District on the recommendation of local councillors as follows –

· Mr. Tom Lewis, Honorary Secretary of the Tipperary Southern and District League
· Tipperary Hills Pitch and Putt
· CJ Kickham Band
· Bansha Tidy Towns
· Cahir Meet and Train Group
· Cappawhite Tidy Towns
· Cashel King Cormac’s Premier Intermediate Hurling Team
· Myles Butcher Shop, Ardfinnan
· Peers Standing Strong Together / U Matter
· The O’Brien Family and their achievements with the Poulmucka Ploughing Association
