Thurles Gardaí Investigating Circumstances Following The Discovery Of A Body

Gardaí in Thurles are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body on Friday morning, 22nd November. 
The deceased man, aged in his 40s, was located on Ikerrin Road at approximately 8:40am.  The deceased was removed from the scene to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination has since taken place, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons. Garda say that foul play is not suspected at this time and that a file will be prepared for the Coroner’s office.
The man is understood to be a native of Latvia employed by a local construction firm.  After losing his accommodation the man is understood to have become homeless and was sheltering in a shed behind a vacant commercial building close to Ikerrin Road.
