Status Yellow Wind & Rain Warning For County Tipperary Tonight

County Tipperary is under a Status Yellow wind and rain warning from 10pm tonight until noon tomorrow.  Very strong southeast to south winds are forecast coupled with heavy rain. This could cause localised flooding, travel disruption and falling trees.
Met Eireann has upgraded weather warnings for Galway and West Cork to status Red Rain fall warnings. The national forecaster is warning of severe flooding, damage to homes and businesses and dangerous/treacherous travelling conditions in these two areas.  The warning is in effect from midnight tonight until 10am tomorrow in both Galway and West Cork.
Counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Wicklow are under a status Yellow wind warning from 5pm Saturday until 2am on Sunday morning.
The warnings are in respect of Storm Bert which is expected to impact Ireland over the weekend.
