National Hunt Meeting To Go Ahead At Tipperary Racecourse Today

The racecourse at Tipperary has passed an inspection and racing will go ahead as planned for today’s National Hunt Meeting.

The first Race on the 7 race card is off at 12.12pm with the final race due to start at 3.42pm today. The meeting is an unexpected race card and was scheduled at the course that had held it’s final 2024 meeting last month after two meetings were cancelled in Thurles recently due to hard ground.

Lorcan Wyer, IHRB Clerk of the Course at Tipperary, says while there is a light dusting of snow still on the track there is no frost in the ground. The ground at Tipperary is rated soft, yielding to soft in places.
