Tipperary’s Local Community Development Committee has announced a call for expressions of interest re LEADER funding for projects to enhance Tipperary’s environment.
A total budget of €300,000 is available for projects in the county that can be in three broad categories – Capital Projects e.g. equipment, works etc.where grant aid of up to 75% of costs up to a maximum of €50,000 is available, a project in respect of Analysis and Development, Audits or a Feasibility Study will be funding up to 90%, subject to a maximum of €30,000 while Training Projects will be funded up to 100% subject to a maximum of €50,000.
Interested groups are asked to complete a brief Expression of Interest form before the deadline of December 18th. A more detailed application would be required if the project is deemed suitable – this would be required by February 28th 2025.

Projects in the Municipal Districts of Cashel/Tipperary/Cahir, Carrick on Suir and Clonmel Borough District should apply to South Tipp Development Company(067 56676) while those in the Municipal Districts of Thurles and Nenagh should apply to North Tipp Development Company(052 744 2652).
