Details of the Glen Court housing estate in Emly that is to be taken in charge by Tipperary County Council have been published on the Council website.
A map outlining the area that will become the responsibility of the Council as regards roads, footpaths and public lighting is included. Uisce Eireann will take over responsibility for water and waste water services including a pumping station in the estate. The residents submitted the application in 2015 but have experienced delays as issues involving wayleaves for piping under unoccupied houses were resolved. Over 20 houses in the estate are vacant at present – some for over 15 years.
A map showing details of Glen Court, Emly, may be inspected at the Tipperary-Cahir-Cashel Municipal District Office on Rosanna Road, Tipperary town from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Monday to Friday, until Thursday 12 December 2024 or viewed online at this link here.
Submissions on the taking in charge can be made no later than 12 noon on Monday January 6th to the Council in Nenagh.
